6 Day Training Programme

The following table gives a guide to how a training week is structured in terms of skiing technique, fitness and athletes awareness. Emphasis is placed on developing each individuals own strengths and encouraging each trainee to perform to the best of their ability.

Each trainee has an opportunity to discuss their future goals, the areas of training that need attention and the positive technical skills that they have achieved. At the end of training a report, written by the trainers in conjunction with the trainees, will be sent out to all parents. Kandahar Racing will keep a copy of the report and will hand them on to each training to ensure consistency of tuition and areas of development.

Games, swimming/skating.
Competition psychology

Full course and free skiing

Personal interview and setting training programmes with stretching ideas and principles

 

This programme is dependent on snow and weather conditions, and is therefore subject to change without notice.

Two week trainings and trainings leading up to race weeks will vary depending on the needs of the trainees, however the above gives the general structure for each week.
