We have decided offer a two week training this year, largely because there seems to be a split half term. As last year we are running the training from Sunday to Sunday.  Let’s hope we get 6 days on snow. We will be staying in the excellent Hotel Tenne again – good food, good accommodation, and excellent hospitality.  I already have a number of provisional bookings and with the large number of current trainees, early reservation will be vital. October training is an excellent opportunity to prepare for the forthcoming season. The focus of the week will be technical training and fitness, so expect to come back much fitter and skiing much better.

 

Travel: I suggest we all travel out on British Airways on Sunday from Heathrow to Geneva, and we will all transfer by bus from Geneva to Saas Fee. BA take skis/boots free and therefore often end up being cheaper.  I have  booked 10 seats  on the following flight. BA726 LHR to GVA. Dep: 08.25 arrive 11.00. Return flight: BA729 GVA to LHR Dep. 13.45 arrive 14.25.

Price: The price of the training will be £1,290 for the week. This price includes everything except ski hire and the flight. Parent price is £550 sharing and £635 for single occupancy, half board accommodation. 

Bookings: Please can I ask you to make your bookings as soon as possible. We are asking for booking confirmation to be returned to Georgina Morris on the application form together with a deposit of £300.00 by 31^st July 2010. There will be a 10% discount on all bookings received by this date. Bookings receive before 12^th September 2010 will be charged at the published price and bookings received within 6 weeks of the start of the training in incur a 5% surcharge

Trainers:  Jas Bruce, Rob Webb, and Ross McMillan will be training.

House Mums: Georgina Morris will be there throughout the training. 

 

 

Medical Information and Consent Form: Please complete a new form for this coming season.

 

Information required: We will need a passport photograph, copies of trainee’s passport, racing insurance and a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Unless we already hold this information, please send it with the balance of the money, at least 6 weeks before travel. Please do not delay sending in your application form because you don’t have this information. We need the deposits to pay our deposits.
