Kandahar Racing are offering members, and member’s children and their friends the opportunity to experience ski race training with Mark Berry, an ex-racer and BASI instructor and Erica Bates in Murren during February half term.
The criteria to participate are the ability to ski parallel turns on a red run at speed and black runs confidently.The week will start with free skiing, moving on to technical skiing and then to gate training.The daily programme will be as follows:meet 9.30 skiing till 12.30, meet again at 2.00 and ski until 5.00.
Bookings can be made for the whole day or for half day sessions, but MUST be booked in advance through KANDAHAR RACING.The cost of February Half Term training will be £201.50 per morning or afternoon session for 6 days or £403 for the full day for 6 days. Bookings will only be taken for the whole week.IF THERE ARE NOT 14 PEOPLE BOOKED IN BY THE CLOSING DATE: SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE TRAINING, THEN THE TRAINING WILL BE CANCELLED.There will be a 10% discount off the published price for bookings received by 20th November 2009 and a 5% surcharge for bookings received after Saturday 2nd January 2010.
If you would like to participate in this programme, please send a DEPOSIT cheque in the sum of £100 to Sue Cohen, 41 West Hill Park, London N6 6ND by 30th November for February Half Term together with an application form and a medical consent form.These can be found on the Kandahar Ski Club and Kandahar Racing websites.This deposit will secure your place. In the event of cancellation of the training this deposit will be returned to you, less an administration fee of £10.00.
