Kandahar is excited to be offering club branded ski-wear. Winter jackets & overtrousers from Avalanche and mid-layer jackets from Colmar are available for all club members to purchase. All items are held as stock by the KSC Hon Merchandise Sec. Items are listed on the KSC shop webpage on the members section of the club website, and can be purchased by club members in the same way as all other merchandise items.
Winter Jackets
The Avalanche ‘Revelstoke’ jackets are insulated, mid-winter jackets with detachable hoods that are suitable for even the coldest days on the mountain. They’re ideal for lapping the Schilthorn in Dec-Feb, staying warm at the top of the Inferno or AICC races, K Racing training camps, powder days on Winteregg, or for simply enjoying a glühwein at the Gondelbar after the sun drops behind the mountains. They’re only available in navy and the KSC logo is embroidered on the front of all the jackets. The adult jackets have the KSC arrow & motto embroidered on the rear, while the junior (and adult XXS) have KANDAHAR embroidered on the rear. Adult jackets cost £230 (sizes XXS-2XL), and junior jackets cost £180 (sizes 6-12 years).
Lightweight Jackets
The Colmar ‘Aspen’ jackets are lightweight quilted hybrid jackets that are suitable as an extra layer on extremely cold days, or as a stand-alone jacket in warmer temperatures (-5 degrees to +10 degrees). They can be used as your go to ski jacket on all but the coldest or wettest of days. They’re also perfect for après ski, prizegivings, curling sessions, or even as your favourite jacket back home in the UK during the winter months for walks in the park or your daily commute. They’re only available in navy and the KSC logo is embroidered on the front of all the jackets, with the KSC arrow & motto embroidered on the rear. They come in mens and ladies cuts and are only available in adult sizes (men 46-60, ladies 40-50 **see sizing charts**). They cost £165.
Overtrousers
The Avalanche ‘QS36’ navy overtrousers are ideal for all conditions whether cold or spring. They match both the Avalanche Revelstoke jacket and the Colmar Aspen jacket, and they’ve got full side-zips which means they can be worn with race suits underneath and are easy to strip off at the top of the race course. They’re perfect for those after the full team uniform look such as juniors doing the K Racing camps, or adults representing Kandahar at the Inferno or AICC. Adult overtrousers cost £165 (sizes XXS-2XL), and junior overtrousers cost £125 (sizes 6-12 years).
