WELSH SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS

Kandahar Racing will be attending the Welsh Championships over the period 20-27 January 2024 in Champery, Switzerland.  SL & GS races are available for U10, U12, U14 and U16 . Our management team will provide trainees with the highest standards of professional ski race coaching and race support during our time in Champery.

TRAINING & RACING

• 20 Jan - Airport pick up for Inliers.

• 21 Jan -  Training day for all age categories.

• 22 Jan -  Training day for all age categories.

• 23 Jan -  Training day for all age categories.

• 24 Jan -  U10/U12 Giant Slalom

• 25 Jan - U14/U16 Giant Slalom (BASS)

• 26 Jan - U10/U12 and U14/U16 Slalom

• 27 Jan - Airport drop off for Inliers

FORMAT

The camp will be run on both inlier and outlier basis but inlier status is limited due to accommodation reservations. Those wishing to attend the camp as inliers must commit to the full 1 week programme. Those attending as outliers are welcome to dip in and out of our programme and can simply pay the daily training / race support fee of £95pppd. Trainees can choose to attend however many days they like from the training and race support. All trainees attending as outliers must arrange their own travel, accommodation, lift passes and entry into the competition. Racers must arrange their own race entries, online entries can be made here. We recommend that trainees book accommodation in Les Crosets (just up the hill from Champery) as this will be our daily meeting point at the bottom of the race piste access lift.

TRAVEL

Flights to Geneva if booked early enough cost under £200pp return inc holdall and ski bags.  The camp travel details that explain which flights to book are ( TO BE CONFIRMED) flights will be on the 21st and 28th January 2024.  Please do not book any flights until you have submitted your online booking and had your place on the camp confirmed as an inlier due to accommodation logistics.

Please complete the following form for baggage for your Easyjet accompanied flight EASYJET BAGGAGE FORM - please only complete this if you are attached to the member of staff’s booking reference due to the grouping of luggage using this method of travel. anyone not having completed the form may be liable for excess baggage on Easyjet flights during 2023/24 season.
